Dr. Doug Hanner
Doug is one of only a few chiropractors in South Carolina who has completed a four year orthopedics program in addition to his undergraduate and chiropractic education. He is board certified in orthopedics by the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. This additional training, allows him to treat both common and more complex cases with great success. He is also one of only a handful of practitioners in the state that is certified in Craniosacral Therapy.
Dr. Hanner uses a “whole person approach.” This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and making whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Hanner is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. He has enjoyed being part of the Anderson community since 1996 and lives here with his wife Lisa and three children.
Dr. Troy Martin
Troy Martin has been a Chiropractor since 1998 and has worked in many different settings in his career. He sees patients in all walks of life and with a multitude of health issues from acute severe pain to wellness care. He believes in tailoring treatment to the individual and meeting the personal needs of each patient. He has studied a variety of techniques used in Chiropractic in the 18 years he has been a Chiropractor and has used that range of knowledge to select and use the proper technique for each patient. He is patient focused and doesn’t treat the individual like a number but instead like a friend or family member.
Doctor Martin was heavily involved in the local community in Dover Delaware and will do the same in Anderson. In addition to coaching little league, he was also a volunteer coach to Wesley College rugby. Sports and recreation have been a strong interest for him and prior to his Chiropractic degree he also acquired a Master’s degree in Sports Health Sciences. He has used this knowledge not only to help his patients but also in his volunteer work. As a father of two young boys he spends a great deal of time in teaching and nurturing kids in sports and recreational activities. He has been the TroopMaster and area Pointman in Delmarva for Trail Life USA, a nationwide Christian outdoor adventure program. As an avid Hiker, mountain biker and trail runner you will often see him out doors and not inside a building. As much as he can he spends that time with his boys and his beautiful wife who also loves the outdoors and is very active in the community.
